Liberty and his litter were dumped at a high kill shelter in West Texas.
Hi, my name is Liberty, but my foster family calls me Dudley which I like bette;r it sounds more like a boy name then Liberty. My foster mom says that I am a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and be near my human. I think that I am a lap dog but my foster mom say I am too big for that but she allows me to stay because I am so cute and such a good boy. She says for a puppy I listen pretty good but sometimes I don’t like to and get into things that I am not suppose to, but I am still a puppy and learning what I can and can’t do. I am mostly potty trained but will have accident from time to time because I am too busy playing or wanting attention from my foster family. When I first got to my foster home I was so scared of being in a kennel so I cried/ howled all night and pawed at the kennel to be let out, my poor foster mom didn’t get much sleep for a few days. I just needed to be near my humans. My foster mom tried everything she even put my 4 legged foster brother in with me. I am happy to report that my foster mom’s hard work has paid off; I now sleep all night in my kennel without howling or crying. I do from time to time still get a little nervous about being in my kennel and cry, but I just need to be reassured that you will come back for me. I would do well with other dogs in a household and kids, there are a couple running around my foster house, I am gentle and loving and don’t jump or bit at them so my foster mom says that’s a good thing. And my future family would be excited to know that. I do get excited during mealtime and eat my food a little to fast and want out of my kennel right after so I can go find my foster brother and sisters’ food. The process is slow, but my foster mom is working on it with me. I am looking to become a part of your family won’t you consider adopting me? I promise we will have a great life together
