Slash and his siblings found themselves stuck in a high kill shelter in West Texas as very young puppies. He is great with other dogs and people.  Cats are unknown (but his siblings have all done well with dogt savvy cats). All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.
 
Slash is mostly potty trained. He has not had any accidents so far in his foster home so long as he is kept to a schedule. Slash does very well in a crate. His crate door is left open and he willingly goes in to take naps. He has not shown any separation anxiety. Slash knows sit and is still working on other commands.

Slash walks very well on a leash. He will constantly look at you for guidance. He does not pull but every so often he will pause before following along.

Slash has gotten along with every dog he has met so far of all sizes. He LOVES meeting and playing with dogs. He still has that puppy energy and will need to continue learning when other dogs are done playing.
When Slash is the only dog, he is very shy and slow to warm up to people but when he is around other dogs he acts like a puppy and is full of love, energy and confidence. Slash will do very well in a home with a resident dog to show him the ropes. Slash will also do well in a home as the only dog but will need a patient and understanding human to slowly build his trust and confidence. Despite being shy Slash is very easy going and has a lot of wonderful qualities.
