Welcome to Matty's Heart & Soul Animal Rescue (MHSAR) website!

MHSAR is a 501c3 non-profit organization solely run by volunteers; we don’t have a paid staff or a facility as we are 100% foster based! We became a Minnesota non-profit on June 22, 2018, and shortly thereafter became Federal 501c3 non-profit on August 30, 2018. We are based in Minnesota in the Twin Cities Metro area and pull dogs and cats in need from local impounds, North and South Dakota Reservations, dogs from Georgia, and Texas currently.

We are always in need of foster homes for adult dogs, puppies, moms with puppies, adult cats, kittens, and moms with kittens!  We provide vetting, food, and supplies that are needed.  Foster homes need to be within an hour drive of Golden Valley, MN for travel purposes for vetting.
