Laverne is gonna be a big girl. She was dumped along with her sister Shirley in a rural shelter in Texas. Their momma is a pure bred English Mastiff (rescued by a different rescue and spayed) who weighed in at 145 pounds. We do not know what dad was. They will be coming up to Minnesota within a couple of weeks and will need a foster or an adopter.
