Derecho, his mom, Sevene, and his siblings were dumped in a high kill shelter in West Texas  They are good with dogs and kids, cats are unknown.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. 

Derecho is a very sweet boy looking for a loving home. He came from the streets in Texas and has adapted so well to living in a home! He is potty trained. He is good with cats, dogs, and kids. Derecho would love to have a sibling (human or canine or both) to play with. He loves to run and play so would do best with a fenced yard. He bounds around like a rabbit with these cute little hops. He likely has some husky in him as he has some vocalizations like a husky (including an occasional howl). He is a little nervous in new situations and around new people but once he warms up, he is the biggest sweetheart and goofball! His whole body wiggles with excitement when he sees his favorite people, he is very much driven by food, and he gets so excited when we use the ice machine on the fridge because he gets an ice cube, too (which he loves!).
