Sevene and her babies were dumped in a high kill shelter in West Texas  They are good with dogs and kids, cats are unknown.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Sevene is a Shepherd mix who came to Minnesota from Texas in early November, 2023. Her and her 7 babies were strays and were brought to the animal shelter. As she is 3 years old and had never lived in a home before, there are a lot of new things to explore! She is a little weary of new people and isn’t typically the first to approach, but she is comfortable with both men and women coming up to her for pets. Sevene hasn’t been around children or cats, so her foster mom isn’t sure how she would do with them. She is a very gentle girl, so older children should be just fine for her. As she gets acclimated to her new environment, her foster mom is sure that Sevene will get more confident around new faces!

We are working on both potty training and leash training. She absolutely loves treats, so that will be great for training. Sevene doesn’t love her kennel, but she will go in if you put a few treats in there. Sevene does well with other dogs and is very friendly! She absolutely loves being outside and could stay there for hours!

Sevene did an amazing job taking care of her babies, and now she’s looking for someone to take care of her! She is a great companion with lots of love and kisses to give.
