Screech found himself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is good with other dogs, kids and respectful of cats.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. 

Hi there, my name is Screech!

I am very sweet and affectionate. 

I was recently rescued from Texas and am currently settling in with my new foster family. They have two other dogs that I absolutely love to play with. My foster mom praises me and says that I am really great at sharing all of my new resources and toys with them. 

When I’m not playing with my new dog friends, I am keeping my foster parents company! I love to lay right next to (or on) them and be pet. It really comforts me to cuddle and be around people I can trust. Sometimes my foster mom trips over me and calls me her shadow, but she says she doesn’t mind because I am so sweet. 

I’ve met two cats here as well and boy do I know they rule the house! One smacked me in the face my first day here so I make sure to always give them plenty of space and approach slowly when I want to sniff them. I wouldn’t dare to chase them!

My foster parents say that they also love that I am house trained (though I have had a few nervous accidents) and that I don’t cry at all in my kennel overnight. They tell me I am such a good boy all the time. 

Although I really like it here, I would love a family that I can trust to call my own. If you pick me I promise to be your best friend and to give you all the love I can for the rest of my life.
