Adhara and her siblings were dumped and found themselves at a high kill shelter in West Texas. They are good with other dogs and kids, and should be with cats with proper introductions.    All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Hi my name is Adhara (or Addie for short)!

I’ve spent the last couple of days settling into my foster home with my littermate, Carina, and am really starting to come out of my shell. Although I’m a little shy and new experiences can be a bit scary, I am still incredibly sweet and affectionate. I especially love getting snuggles and pets from my foster mom and dad and am really excited about all of the fun toys they have. I am working so hard on potty training and love the cookies and praise I get when I go potty outside. My foster mom says that I am really smart though and will get the hang of it soon, especially since I don’t have any accidents in my kennel overnight.

My foster home has lots of new friends for me to interact with too. I like the other dogs here and enjoy following them around and playing with them. I’ve also met two very friendly kitties, though I haven’t tried to chase them because they seem to be the bosses of house. My foster home also has a near two-year-old small human who is very gentle with me. I like to follow her and give her kisses. Even though my foster home is fun, I would really love a forever family of my own! I promise I am such a good girl and will show you endless amounts of love.
