Aphrodite is a stunningly gorgeous Ragdoll/Himalayan mix who came from a hoarding situation last summer. As a result, even with months of socialization, she is skittish around new people and children. Thus she will need one or two devoted humans and a quiet, calm home without a lot of commotion.

 

When she’s comfortable with her chosen people, she can be very affectionate, rolling over for belly rubs, giving fierce headbutts, kneading the air. But when she’s triggered by something scary, she will retreat and avoid human interaction at all costs. She will not attack nor is she aggressive, but the fear in her is strong.

 

Her chosen human(s) will need to be patient and understanding of the above quirks.

 

Aphrodite is physically a picture of perfect health. She’s had her shots, been spayed, been wormed, and tested negative for FIV/Felv. 

 

She is also being fostered with her sister Artemis who is a short-haired tuxedo, who is available to adopt with her. Artemis is almost exactly the same as her sister Aphrodite in terms of anxiety and behavior, and is physically healthy and vetted.

 

There is the option of adopting them together. They’d be very happy to stay together!

 

Btw, they’re both kittens under a year old! They’re estimated around 8 months.
