Santiago and his siblings were found with their momma, Flaca, unwanted and dropped off in a high kill shelter in El Paso. The puppies and their momma do well with other dogs, cats, and livestock, and are great with kids. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. 

From the foster:
 Sweet Santiago seemed nervous when he first got off of transport,. He has been coming out of his shell each day and gaining more and more confidence. He is such a sweet boy, and his ears are seriously the best thing! He wants to be held a lot because he likes his cuddles, but I encourage him to play and explore as much as possible too! He is learning a lot from the other dogs, and he gets along super well with them. He is a bit timid when meeting new people, and loud noises or “out of the ordinary things” scare him a little, but we are working on these things slowly! He is learning to walk on a leash and is still working on potty training, so he will need someone who is willing to put the work in–he’s a puppy, after all! He does well in the car and in the crate too–he whines a little when initally crated, but usually quiets down right away. Santiago will make the best companion ever.
