Lucas found himself unwanted, and in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  He is great with other dogs and kids.  He would prefer a lower key dog if the family has one, he is an old sole at heart. He will require a dog around the same size or a little smaller or no dog at all is just fine with him. He does like to play hard with others but doesn't enjoy lots of puppy energy. He enjoys a good snuggle with a blanket and scratches all day long. He would not likely do well with cats as he likes to chase squirrels and occassionally birds.  Priority will go to applicant who can bring him to a vet visit in Maple Grove, MN prior to adoption.  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org
