Nacho is just a mature naked guy who found himself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  He is a sweetheart and is good with dogs and older respectful kids .. cats are unknown. He does seem to have a preference for male human companions. Once he has decided you are his human he will follow you around and wants to protect you, so he may nip at someone getting close.  He does walk well on a leash, but does need more leash work to walk along side of someone. He enjoys a snack of cheese, broccoli and carrots vs a traditional dog treat.  Because he is hairless, he will need sun protection in the summer and coats for winter time, although he seems to have mastered removing his clothing. He is pee pad trained, but will need further work for both indoor/outdoor transition now that warmer temps are approaching. He does enjoy laying in front of the fire in the winter time, so MN summer sunshine will be a joy for him.  Because of his size and life experience quick movements do startle him. He does not like the kennel at this time, but he is not in it often. He is pretty quiet outside of the kennel other than the normal barking at a delivery driver or someone coming up to the home. He does like to sleep in his dog bed and enjoys squeeky toys.
He will need some time to adjust to a new home due to the many changes he has had in his life. A family willing to work with him and help him socialize will be necessary. He needs someone with patience and understanding to help him gain confidence and trust in people.  
As many older dogs, he has some bad teeth that will need to be pulled, an appointment has been requested with our vet.
