Luca is a very sweet 2 year old boy looking for his perfect forever home. Although he draws lots of interest, he has a few specific needs so please only apply if you truly feel he might be perfect for you.

Luca is a highly active dog and needs the opportunity for an outlet of his energy. He would be a great candidate for a running partner, bike partner, or regular hiking. (He would make a great agility dog.) Mental stimulation, physical exercise, and a "job" would go a long way to helping Luca succeed in life. He is good with other dogs when given a slow introduction and we feel he needs another dog in the home to keep him company, give confidentce, and a play buddy. Slow intro dogs do not do well in dog parks so that cannot be the plan for energy outlet. 

He loves kids, but his energy can overwhelm small children so not best for homes with skittish children or toddlers. This doesn't mean he can't be around them or have future children in his home, just that he needs supervision and energy outlets to make it sucessful.

He is house trained and has had exposure to a kennel with mixed success. He can be vocal when kenneled and not wanting to be, so he would not be a candidate for shared walls like an apartment or townhome. He has had mixed success with exposure to cats. He is very friendly, super soft and cuddly. He would make a great addition to someone who has the perfect home environment to help him succeed and settle in. 
 
Luca is microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated.
