This sweet lady was rescued from a home in southern Minnesota that had over 100 dogs on the property. Peanut was brought into rescue just one week before she delivered her litter of 7 puppies. As you can imagine, she was very frightened and unsure of her foster family when she first came, but they have since earned her trust. She was an excellent momma and her puppies have all moved to their own homes. She craves human attention and can often be found snuggled up next to her foster or perched on the sofa nearby. She remains a little unsure of strangers and takes some time to warm up. Her favorite pass time is collecting all the toys in the house and “burying” them in a pile of blankets. She is house trained and will scratch at the door or whine when she needs to go potty. She deserves a loving family of her own; one in which she is the center of attention and not just property. Although we aren’t sure what breed mix she is, she is a small-medium sized dog at about 21 lbs. If interested in learning more, fill out an application today.
