Description: Pegasus and her litter were dumped at a high kill shelter in West Texas. She loves all dogs and everyone, she spent a week in a home with dog friendly cats and did fine with them. Description: Pepito found himself unwanted and on death row in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He loves adult humans, he can be dog selective. No cats or kids. He is typical JRT and has energy and needs to be kept busy. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.Pepito is a very sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix who is about a year and a half old. He is fully grown and weighs only 22 pounds.
Pepito can be dog selective, especially with larger dogs. He would be best with a home that has a dog near his size or is the sole dog. The energy of smaller children frightens him, so that should be avoided. He walks well on a leash, is kennel trained, and is a great cuddler and gives the best hugs. First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vet visit as needed. Description: Pontoon, his siblings and his momma were dumped in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He loves other dogs and only should be around dog savvy cats as he is very interested in them. Young kids would not be ideal at this time since he is timid. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.Pontoon is leary of people, especially new ones. He does however LOVE all dogs. He will need a home that will continue to work with him to show him people aren't so scarey, someone who will give him time to come out of his shell and shine. He doesn't currently appreciate a harness and leash so in home trainings will likley be needed to start working on his confidence with a handler. He is kennel trained and potty trained.
