Sarah (fka Caziel) was an owner surrender that was formerly a stray and taken to a high kill shelter in West Texas. She was surrendered due to being adopted from their and owner moving. She is good with other dogs and older kids, young children and cats are unknown. She is a high energy girl that would likely be a great running partner. Her left eye is enlarged due to a deformity but the vet says there are no concerns and she even has some siight with it. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.
Sarah arrived in Minnesota in March 2024 and has been looking for her
forever home ever since. She is potty trained, crate trained, and is
quiet in her kennel all day. Sarah requires slow intros to dogs that
she doesn’t know. It is best to keep her and a new dog separated for
at least a few hours while she gets used to them. For this reason, she
is not a good dog park or brewery dog candidate. She lives with 3
other dogs and loves them, but she wants to decide on her terms
whether they are friends or not. Sarah has not been around cats.
Sarah walks well on a leash, but she gets excited and pulls when she
sees another dog or a squirrel. She is fearful of cars that drive too
close to her, but she is great at riding in the car. She is quiet and
you’ll forget she’s there!
Sarah has a good amount of energy and would benefit from a home that
can give her consistent exercise and mental stimulation. She loves
bones and chew toys; even the tough chewer toys don’t last long with
Sarah!
Sarah doesn’t bark often, only when she is playing and is really excited.
Her love language is physical touch- she lays right on top of her
foster parents in bed and on the couch. She is the happiest girl in
the world when her foster parents come home from work- her whole body
wiggles with excitement! She will lick your face all day if you let
her, and she is the ultimate snuggler.
If you’re looking for a best friend for life, look no further than Sarah!
