Okashi and siblings found themselves unwanted and on death row in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  They love other dogs, humans and is good with cats.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Hi! My name is Okashi! I traveled all the way from TX to MN in hopes of finding my forever family. My siblings also came up, but have since found their families. A little bit about myself…I’m a black and tan chihuahua mix, about 25 lbs and estimated to be about 8 months old. I enjoy cuddles on the couch, a run around in the backyard and playing with my toys. My foster home has a cat and I actually quite like her. We play sometimes, but for the most part just do our own thing. I can be a little shy, but give me time and I’ll warmup to be your best friend. I’m still considered a puppy, so I do require supervision and am working on training to be the best dog I can be. I’m a good listener, but sometimes need reminders. I’m pretty good in my kennel. Still working on potty training, but I’m almost there. Other dogs are okay with me. I’ve had limited exposure to children, so I may seem a little unsure a first, but they could be okay eventually. Just give me a little patience and I’ll show you my loving personality with a little side of spicy.
