Ander and his sister Kami were found as strays and taken to a high kill shelter in West Texas.
 
I am a very large ploppy, derpy pup. I am kennel and potty trained. I love to explore with my nose and my two front paws. I am good on a leash, but can get excited when I see another dog because I love them all, big or small. My favorite things are going for a run and romp... then coming in and chewing on a beef cheek roll or a beef bone. I love toys... all toys. I am very quiet...  unlike what people think when they hear the breed "hound". I am looking for a forever family...a family that will take me on adventures and be active with me, I love car rides and ride quietly in the back or where you place me, if you get gas I will hop in the front seat to make sure I keep it ready for you. When I am comfortable in my environment, I want to be all involved in absolutely everything. I sometimes need a moment when meeting new people, especially men (I do better when they are sitting down) or unfamilar quick movements, but I warm up & recover quickly...the way to my heart is treats and patience. I had a solid place command, so that is super handy when I am in situations where I should be just observing the activity for a bit. I am a professional face washer, so if you miss something, no worries, I can get it for you if you will allow me.  Did I tell you that I am LARGE?? Yes, I am almost 75 or so pounds.
