Baymaxx found himself unwanted at a high kill shelter in West Texas. He was part of a hoarding situation. He is good with other dogs and kids, and with proper introductions should be ok with cats.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Baymaxx is a six year old Chihuahua mix (maybe MinPin?) from Texas.  He has had a rough start in life, but he is very smart and a cuddly boy once he gets to know you.  He loves other small to medium sized dogs and would prefer to have another dog in the home to help him
(really big dogs are scary to him).  Baymaxx can use pee pads inside the house but goes potty outside, too.  He enjoys going for walks and sniffing around. Another favorite of Baymaxx is to have a bath and get brushed out.  He will just lay for the longest time being brushed.  He does bark when he sees someone walk by the house, but a simple, "No, Mackie!" and he quiets right down.  Currently Baymaxx sleeps in the family  room on the couch (he isn't a chewer and doesn't get into anything) at night, but he probably would prefer to sleep in bed with his owner!  Baymaxx does like to go into his kennel to rest throughout the day, but he will bark a bit if you shut him in (With a baby gate closing off our family room, rarely does he have to go in the kennel).  Baymaxx is good with our eight year old niece--he hasn't been around younger children or cats, so we are not sure how he'd do with that.  He can also be slow to warm up to some people (primarily men that are large in stature) by keeping a distance, but in just a few weeks, he's getting braver.  Other smaller men he seems fine with.  He loves to run to his mom to be picked up, have his belly scratched, or to lick her hand.  He also looks forward to evenings when he can lay on the couch with his foster sisters while his foster mom watches some tv!  Baymaxx would make a great addition to any family who likes a little tagalong friend everywhere they go!
