Haven found herself unwanted in a  high kill shelter in West Texas. She is good with other dogs, kids and cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Haven likes to be close to her human and loves to snuggle with them, she is a total lap dog. She is not afraid to ask for pets and gives out kisses to show her appreciation.  She knows commands such as sit, down, off, shake and walks well on a leash but is learning to heel yet. She rides wonderfully in a vehicle. She kennels well when needed and is potty trained. She picked up using a doggie door within minutes. She is learning to play with toys enjoys tossing around a stuffy. She has been great with all sizes and ages of dogs.  While she hasn't had much contact with cats, the ones she did meet were in  kitty condos and swiped at her, she backed off and was super confused. She was not at all interested in them. She is learning to not counter surf and since she is such a people pleaser, she is catching on quickly. Watch your door if you go out, she wants to join you, so she is working on her door dashing impulse. She is great with the kids and toddlers she has met, she is definately kid approved. This girl is such a delightful beauty with a velvety soft chocolate coat and eyes that are very expressive and full of love. She will be an amazing addition to any family.
