Patch or Patches is a sweetheart who found himself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  He is good with other dogs and kids, cats at current residence. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training

I think he was a well loved pet at one point in his life. He knows how to sit and lay down. He is good with kids, but older one's or maybe less kids haha would probably be his favorite (mine are 3,3,1 ). I'm not concerned about him biting. When he feels pressure his instinct is to flee. He does try to snatch food from littles  when those little hands are so close to his nose It's not in an aggressive way at all!! He has zero prey drive. No ball chasing for him He could live with cats no problem. He isn't even curious about the cat. Will rip apart stuffies with squeakers!! He is a MAJOR LAP dog!! I don't think he would like to be home alone... might work if he had a doggie friend. He doesn't utilize the full space of yard though because he just wants to be with us Still learning about him.

He tires on longer walks. He's good with a 10-15 minute walk. I think he wishes he was taller so he could counter surf haha
