Rylie is a sweetheart that found herself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  She is good with other dogs and kids, She did well with cats in her foster home, she actually loves cats. She can resource guard food with other dogs, so caution and feeding separately is a must. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Rylie is a gentle giant looking for her furever home.. She loves attention. Pets, scratches, hugs, you name it, she's here for it. She'll even nudge you gently to tell you when she'd like to be petted. 

Rylie can be timid when meeting adults and warms up quickly with treats, but wants to play with every dog or child she encounters. She's not one for toys like balls or ropes, but loves to chew on bones. Her favorites are toys she can chase that dispense treats.

Rylie is well mannered, but would benefit from some light obedience training. She is mostly house trained, but does not consistently let her humans know it's time to go outside. She walks well on a leash, but could use a little more training as she pulls when she sees another dog.

Rylie would do best in a home that has a fenced in yard, or area to run and as an only dog as she likes ALL of the attention. She's a social butterfly and would likely do well in a house with kids or other laid back dogs. Bossy dogs, even small ones, scare her a bit.
