Rubio was part of a hoarding situation of more than 50 dogs and puppies.  Some were lucky and and found themselves in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  A neighbor has shot quite a few of them and we, thankfully, were able to save some of them. They are good with other dogs and kids, cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training..

Hello world I am Rubio I come from Texas from a hoarding situation and the wonderful people from Matty's brought me to Minnesota to find a forever home. In Texas I didn't have a lot of human contact so I'm learning how to trust and how to behave properly around all types of people. 

Boy have I come a long way since I got off that van from Texas. I love to play with my foster brother all day long. He likes to take breaks though. I love love love to go for rides in the car. I am learning how to trust people and I think my foster mom is pretty awesome. I love to follow her everywhere she goes. I can't wait to get my forever human so I can be the most loyal friend they'll ever have.

I love to play with chew toys. I'm really smart and a great jumper. I think the snow is awesome and I love to eat the ice I find when outside.
