Albany was part of a hoarding situation of more than 50 dogs and puppies.  Some were lucky and and found themselves in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  A neighbor has shot quite a few of them and we, thankfully, were able to save some of them. They are good with other dogs, kids,  and the cat at the current foster home . All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Hi, my name is Albany. My foster mom says that I am a feisty, sweet as pie (whatever that means) timid, and shy yet full of energy.  I love to play with my foster brother, we chase each other all around the back yard until we are exhausted. I am learning how to play fetch. I still have not gotten that I am to bring the ball back once its thrown, but I love to chase after it, I am shy and timid at first but once I get to know you and understand that you want to love me, then I become a cuddle bug and will lavish you with kisses. I need a home that has a resident dog, I am ok with cats, when I see my foster cat I whine at her because I want to play but she doesn’t understand that and gets scared of my bark (I would never hurt her I just want to play). I am good with kids, my foster mom has little ones that come over and I love to play with them. I really love when the kids run around the yard and ask me to chase them, I could do that for hours. My favorite thing to do is  go on long walks, I am doing good on a leash for never being walked before coming to MN. I am potty trained and will let you know when I need to go out.  I Know to go in my kennel when it is time to eat, once my food is gone, I am ready to get out.  I prefer to sleep next to my person if you will let me because being away from you scares me, I want nothing more than to be with the one I love, and it makes me feel safe and secure. I need  a home who can match my energy level because I have a ton  that I need to burn. I would be a good addition to your family will you consider me? I promise you will not be sorry.
