Dahlia found herself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. She is good with other dogs and kids, and tested well with cats. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Dahlia is a sweet, snuggly and energetic pup. She will need a gated area to run around in. She's working on her leash skills but gets distracted by all the fun things. Is very treat motivated. Knows “sit”, “lay down” and though she doesn’t like it “no”. She will follow you anywhere with that look in her eyes that you are her world. She loves toys, but doesn’t quite understand fetch yet. She’s very uncertain of situations and looks to her person to guide her. Patience is key. Does great with other dogs and would like a home with another dog or regular play dates. She is very interested in cats and doesn't fully understand bounderies, so would need to be a dog savvy cat.
She is house trained but will have accidents if her routine is thrown off. She does need a yard and space to run.
