Dahlia found herself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. She is good with other dogs and kids, and tested well with cats. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. 

Hi! I’m Dahlia! I’m a black terrier mix. I’m about 10-11 months old and weigh about 46 lbs. Some of my favorite things are car rides, snuggling on the couch, water (whether it’s a full bathtub or lake) and of course, treats. I’ll do anything for a treat! I’m also pretty smart and know sit, down, and off. I’m pretty good at walking on a leash and like my kennel just fine. I might whine a little bit but eventually settle in. I’m still young, so I have a fair amount of energy to burn off, so a daily walk would be great! I still need supervision as I’m a young pup and like to investigate things, sometimes chew, but I take redirecting pretty well. I do like other dogs a LOT…so if you have a dog already, I think we could friends. Other things I can handle are dog-savvy children. My ideal home would have a fenced-in yard, possibly another dog friend (though not required…cuz that would just mean more of your attention), daily exercise, maybe a spot to sun myself in, and of course YOU So if you’re looking for a real sweet adventure pal…then I’m your gal!
