from the foster:
This sweet boy is Digger. He came from a hoarding situation so had little human contact prior to coming to MN. He loves playing with other dogs, but requires patience when it comes to humans. He has come along way and enjoys a good belly rub now. He is so much more confident than he was when he arrived. He now approaches people, especially kids. He's a bit of a lady's man in his eyes. He will beg you for a treat and even knows when we are out at events who the normal treat givers are and seeks them out. He has learned that he LOVES ice cream!
He is kennel trained, house broken and eager to please. He knows sit and down, and is working on bell training to alert when he needs/wants to go out. He likes walks and his kennel, he even puts himself to bed when tired, and he will sleep just about anywhere including beds that are way to small.
Digger would do best in a home with another dog, which helps with his confidence, but would not be a requirement if the family has experience and are able to do regular socializing/play dates with other dogs.
