Herschel and his siblings found themselves unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. They are available foster to adopt while waiting for vetting appointment in Twin Cities Metro area. 
 

From the foster:

Herschel is an adorable little lover and is as sweet as he is cute! He lights up when you come into the room and will come running to greet you with his wiggle butt and sparkly eyes. Your heart will completely melt! He loves to follow people around and is happy to spend much of his day laying at your feet. He loves to be held and is a fantastic cuddler! This boy likes the crate and is quiet as a door mouse in it.  He does  great at potty training when on a schedule.

Herschel is a bit wobbly and has some mobility issues. Though he probably will never be a dog who can go for long walks, runs or hikes. His deficits aren’t going to hold him back for long because he is incredibly motivated and super smart. He catches on quick while learning new tricks.

He loves other animals (dogs and cats) and watches them to learn how to do new things. Our cat is his buddy and they love to wrestle! Our other cats aren’t really sure about him and he is pretty good at leaving them alone. He would love to have a playmate or 2 in his forever home. He is learning to play with toys and loves chewing, tug of war and chasing balls. He also is great traveling in the car.
