Hi my name is Colt Lou but I love being called Coltie!  My family was no longer able to take care of me sadly, so I am back in rescue looking for a new home once again. I love meeting new people. I am a very sweet & goofy boy who is still a puppy. I love playing, breakfast (actually, I love all food & meals), and snuggling. I would do best with a big yard to run around in and lots of toys to play with!  I am ok with cats, we usually just keep to ourselves. I love other dogs of all ages and sizes, I would prefer if there is a dog in my new home that they be able to play with me. I would also enjoy being the apple of someone's eye as an only dog to love on. I do well with kids, they are fun. I am crate trained when my foster family is away from the home, but I do enjoy sleeping in their bed at night. 
I may have puppy energy, but I also know how to chill. I LOVE hugs if you'll allow me to give them to you, I've also been known to give kisses. I am often called a gentle giant, but I don't think I am that big. I like to be by my humans and am a very loyal boy. I know commands like sit, down, off and I am VERY treat motivated so please teach me new things. 
Do you know a dog named Scooby Doo? Well, I have heard them compare me to him because I am a bit of a scaredy cat, but my bark will make up for it. Oh, BTW I don't really bark much, mainly when I am interested in meeting a new dog that I see or if a scarey person comes around I will make sure you know you need to protect me.
