Herc (Hercules) is a very sweet boy who found himself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas. His owner died of Covid and the family did not want to take care of his fur baby. He is good with dogs and kids, cats unknown. He loves people and his favorite places to be are curled up on the couch, in his bed or on someone’s lap. He is house trained but not a fan of a crate or being alone. His foster parents are working on the crate training but feel he would be better suited to someone who works from home or is retired. He likes to know where his people are and be near them. Herc has been marking in his foster home and will need an adopter willing to use belly bands to reduce his urges of marking and work with him. He plays with his toys from time to time but not high energy. He loves to give kisses and dances in circles when he sees new people. He’s a very affectionate, sweet boy that needs somebody to give him a chance.

Shared wall living may not be ideal as he is a vocal boy who likes to talk and chatter.
