Birdie, was found abandoned in a desert area in Texas.  3 days after she was picked up, she birthed seven babies, while being in a shelter.  Momma is one of the sweetest old souls ever.  We are very lucky we were able to save her and her babies. We were told she is one year old, however, we are quite skeptical.  Birdie will be reassessed as she seems to be 3 ish years old.
