Baxter is a very sweet boy that came from Alabama.  Once he arrived we found out he was heartworm positive.  He has been undergoing treatment and will receive at least 1 more injection prior to being available for adoption.  He is house trained, crate trained, and he is a little bit of a puller on the leash.  His excitement for other dogs can come off as aggression, however, once the proper introductions, he loves them.  Baxter should not be around cats... as they are looked at as food!  If you are interested in Baxter, please fill out an application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.  Please also be mindful that we will not let him be adopted until at least one month after his last injection.
