Zavia and her 3 siblings found themselves dumped, unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. They are good with other dogs, and people, but cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.

She is Crate Trained; House Trained; Kennel Trained: Leash Training is in progress.  People:  She is reserved and skittish until she feels safe with you. We are working on making her feel comfortable with strangers.   She loves to play - like chasing balls in the backyard and often brings it back to you.  When she is tired, she loves to snuggle.  Dogs: she is fearful of dogs, but we are in the process of getting her out to meet other dogs on a regular basis.  Cats are unknown.  She will quietly lay on her bed while you work on your computer and is a sweetheart.
