Penuche found herself unwanted and abandoned at a high kill shelter in West Texas. She is great with other dogs, and people, but cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.

Penuche (we have been calling her Charlie) is a snuggler for sure! If you’re around she wants to be with you and close to you. She does well in her crate, lasting the entire workday without accidents. She is getting into the hang of going into her crate on her own. She sleeps in her crate at night, but is very happy to sleep with you if that’s your style! We’re still working on potty-training when she’s outside of the crate, but we’re making good strides. She’s timid, but warms up as she gets to know you. She likes to chew on fabric and other soft things. She doesn’t run around much and has low exercise needs. She gets along well with other dogs, but she will eat chickens. Cats unknown. Also good with kids!
