Meet Miley! This love would do well in any home. She’s good with all ages and most dogs. She is kennel trained. She is very smart, and is a huge snuggle bug. She loves toys and bones but doesn’t chew up the house. Her energy level is medium/high so she can play but also chill on the couch with you. She would do best with a 6ft fence or a tie out. She is about a year old and a slim 50lbs. She is just waiting to show her forever home how much happiness she brings!

From the foster

Miley is very smart and learns quickly, especially tricks. She is house trained on a schedule and knows to ring a bell to go out, but does occasionally have accidents if she’s not let out regularly. We are still working on leash skills. She walks pretty well unless she sees other dogs or rabbits. They can make her SOOO excited she just can’t contain herself. We are working hard on this leash reactivity, with some success. Adopters should be committed to continuing this work, or have a back yard with a 6’ fence.

She loves people—wants to cuddle and give everyone kisses, and is great with teens and respectful tweens. She is mouthy, though, so younger kids might not be ideal. She also has a high prey drive and is overly interested in cats and small dogs when we are out. It’s possible she would be fine with them with slow intros...

I think she would LOVE to live with a dog her size or larger who is laid back and likes to play energetically. She does well with our senior boxer, but is disappointed that he has no interest in playing or cuddling. Her overly friendly and assertive manner can be a little hard for some dogs to handle, so slow introductions are best.
